New to Australia

Postby Lucias » Sat Feb 14, 2015 9:58 pm

Hi,

At some point towards the end of 2015, I will be looking at emigrating to Victoria to be with my fiance. I'm a keen Larper here at home and I'm used to a fairly large scale and availability of the hobby. The reality is I know nothing about Larp down under. I've tried to find systems on my own and I've encountered a few but I honestly don't know which are the more popular ones. So I'm curious about what I should be looking for? if any events stand out above the rest for a newcomer?

Welcome Lucias!

Watchers of Easthaven and Chimera Productions (Dantir) are newcomer friendly. If you happen to be in Victoria around Easter, then Conquest (the Easter Games Convention) is a great place to try out our LARPing style, without investing too much money and time.

Hi Lucias

Just a reminder that Chimera Productions is running an event on March 20 - 22, to book just email to chimeraproductions@hotmail.com

Also as mentioned by Kitsune, Conquest is a great place to get involved in gaming of all types in Victoria.

Hope to meet you sometime!
